A graduate of Washington College, Maryland, Wendy earned her B.A. in Sociology and later received her Master of Arts in Marriage, Family & Child Counseling and her Master of Science in Pastoral Counseling. Wendy has been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1993. She is certified in Advanced Critical Incident Stress Management and served as a chaplain in Biloxi after Hurricane Katrina. She has been licensed and ordained as a Senior Chaplain by the International Fellowship of Chaplains. Wendy has also been trained to work with returning military and Veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Wendy is passionate to see the restoration of individuals, marriages, and families. She encourages people in the pursuit of their destinies.
In addition to her professional work in the field of counseling, Wendy has committed the last twenty years of her life volunteering in grass roots politics. She has communicated with her legislators at public hearings, campaigned for candidates, prepared and distributed voter guides, written articles for local magazines, composed new patriotic songs for choirs, and provided adult lectures on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Wendy’s passion is to see the restoration of a strong America, a country founded on principles which include personal responsibility and individual freedom as defined by the Founding Fathers.
Wendy is one of many women who are stepping forward to play a pivotal role in our struggle for our communities, for our states, and for this nation. She is a strong fiscal and social conservative. She is innovative and creative and will look for out-of-the-box solutions. She values listening to individuals because she cares deeply for them. Wendy believes in the strength of the American spirit blessed by God who made this nation exceptional. She believes communities, states, and our nation will be restored with the sacrifice of people who will stand together for freedom. Wendy resides with her husband John and their two teenage children in Fort Mill. They are active members of MorningStar Fellowship Church.
